These photos and documents were among a small stash of early 1920’s ephemera from the Training School For Girls found by Lisa Durfee, the Tainted Lady Lounge blogger, in an old box at a garage sale in Hudson.

Dear Lillian,
Thank you so much for writing. If you feel like sharing more about your experiences here on the website, you are welcome to do so. Otherwise, we’d be glad to talk with you over the phone or in person. We have sent you an e-mail. Either way, we hope you keep in touch and tell us more about your life at the school during 1968 – 1970. If you live in or near Hudson, you may also check out “Memory Books” from the Hudson Area Library and either write or make drawings about your experiences in those books. Finally, we’ll be sponsoring, along with community partners, a panel of Training School ‘alumni’ in June 2013 who will share what life was like for them living in or working at the Training School. Perhaps you would like to participate or attend…Let us know.
