We wanted to share the article that appeared in the Register Star about our event at the Hudson Area Library featuring author/historian Geoff Ward: Black child-saving movement has had ups and downs. Thanks to reporter John Mason for writing a very informative piece which includes a great quote from Geoff: “Memory is both a mirror and a lamp,” Ward said, “a mirror of past events and a lamp that organizes our sense of ourselves and where we might go.”
